Big News!

Leadership Transition
The big news is that Citylife Church is transitioning into a new season of leadership. As of the 2nd of February 2025, Ps Ron will be stepping aside as Senior Minister. In his place, Ps Adrian will be taking on the position of Senior Minister and will lead Citylife Church with a newly established Pastoral Eldership.
Ps Ron and Heather moved to Wollongong over thirty years ago to start what is now called Citylife Church. Beginning with nothing, Ron and Heather, along with many others who joined the Citylife journey, have built what is now a strong and healthy Church. It is from this place of strength that Citylife is now being handed over to new (or not-so-new) hands. Adrian joined Citylife in 2004 when he moved to Fairy Meadow to study at Wollongong TAFE. Ever since, he has been a faithful servant in the House, from playing bass in the youth band to his current role as Executive Pastor.
Citylife Church has been built around the mission of seeking the Kingdom of God first and making disciples. The change of leadership is not a change of mission.
Growing up in Citylife and serving the vision for over twenty years, Adrian is ready to steward the same vision and mission
It is on core values around seeking the Kingdom of God first and making disciples that make Ci
some of our own people now serving God abroad.
This transition has been taking place over several years and it was this year that Ps Ron felt God say it was time to make the change.
Ron and Heather aren’t leaving us! Ps Ron will take on the role of Founding Pastor and will still be involved in ministry to provide support and strength to this leadership transition.

To be a singer you need to first be able to sing and come to our music practices. While you are there you will talk to Bronwen about your vocal range and what your capabilities are and you will sing with her and the rest of the team.

You don’t have to be a musical wizard, but you do need to know the basics and be able to play along with the band. If you’re not quite ready for this, that okay. You can still attend music practice to learn the songs as well as get some support or tutoring from one of our musicians.

Equipment is provided, mostly. If you are a guitarist and have an awesome Fender or Gretsch, bring it and shred it. If you are a ukuleleist, you will need to bring your own ukulele.
